Now that I’m a few days removed from the premiere of “Fielding Dreams: A Celebration of Baseball Scouts,” I can truly say that I got to do what every baseball fan should do once in their lives and that’s visit the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Though I’m not sure I’d recommend going to mid-state (or upstate?) New York in January, it was a kind of fun sight to see rolling snow covered hills out in the relative wilderness. The adventure was quick—about thirty hours or so—but it was something that is going to stick with me for a while. I did however come back with some nuggets of wisdom:
